    So it probably won't comply with IBC. Existing probably gets grandfathered, renovations/additions likely need to comply with IBC.

    Rewiring or additions to wiring still need to comply with NEC, or where it is at CEC.

    How many it holds is irrelevant What is the capacity per the fire Marshall.

    Since the NEC is the minimum requirements i always concerted the safety of the people that are using the equipment I am powering.
