    State Inspection Authority Rankings/Grade

I recall seeing somewhere, a state by state letter grade based on the presence of a stringent inspection authority, what code cycle they were following/inspecting. It might have even been on Mike's site....but I can't find it! Does anybody know what I am talking about, and could kindly provide a link to this?

    Thank you!

I remember this as well but I can't find it either. I'm thinking it was produced Mike Holt and it was something along the lines of a combination of factors such as the latest code, license requirements, etc. If it still exist, I sure can't find it now.

Yep texie that's exactly what it was. Seems like it came to me in an email, like one of his newsletters. As you are saying, I also think it came from Mike Holt.

NY doesn't require an EC to have a licence? That can't be right.

His table for NJ is wrong on the adopted version of the NEC. NJ adopted 2014 on 9/21/15, 4 months before the table was printed.

In NY state, each municipality/jurisdiction issues a license. Crazy stupid in my opinion, but if that's what they want...

    Wow! Michigan got an A+!

No wonder I cringed at the work done while I was in Indiana (D+).

A quick glance at many of the states with bad and mediocre grades may be attributed to no statewide licensing and code adoption in those states.
