Just got a machine in from Germany.
The incoming supply terminal block only has a screw inside the connector not a pressure plate. I don't have a #1 wire ferrule or crimper, but I think I have seen a connector that has a setscrew like a lug for the wire end and a pin on the other end. Is there such an animal, searching now but can't find.

found what I needed

found what I needed

What I was thinking of was the connector that goes from wire to breaker, used when wire size won't fit under breaker because upsizing of wire.

I'm not sure that adapter would help; won't the setscrew on the adapter tear up the wire strands too? AD has a cheap crimper and die set:

They have the ferrules you need as well:

UL listed?

My understanding is that the only listed ferrules are made by Panduit and only go up to 1/0 because the new UL standard for ferrules only goes to 1/0.
