    That is correct, they would be. And? We've had long discussions about AHJ's being wrong on the code; sometimes you can shift them, sometimes you can't. I really don't understand why so much objection to giving a warning; I'd be grateful for it.

    On the cord reels- more things to break and they're usually only rated full load when completely extended (read the specs).

    AHJ being wrong or misinterpreting code can happen with almost any section in the code, so I guess the warning is for anything you may do?

    I don't recall talking about cord reels but if they are involved - yes.
    I live for today, I'm just a day behind.
