On half of a switchleg is dimming after a few hours??

This is a pretty big service area. There are around 80 lights,
4 trunklines with 2 switchlegs and one emergency circuit.
Each switchleg has its own roomcontroller.

So half one switchleg (which is one whole trunkline ) dims after being on for about 5 hours.if u turn off the switch and let the lights rest for a while they will turn bright again for a while This problem only started last week and the buildiny has been up and running wit tennants for 4 months already.
Just an FYI these lights do not have the dimming wires attached . They are capped off and no;38,^ used.. any ideas?

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere that is affected by the heat from the load
They say I shot a man named Gray and took his wife to Italy
She inherited a million bucks and when she died it came to me
    I can't help it if I'm lucky

    Could be the switch itself

That was my first thought. I've seen a few cases were residential grade switches were used in commercial, 1200 Watts worth lighting put on a 600-watt dimmer, 20a of lighting on a 20a breaker, etc.

If the switch is the culprit, it will probably be half melted already.
Electricians do it until it Hertz!

    No Dimming hooked up?
How did you get that past Title 24 lighting controls?
