    Video Doorbell

I am looking for a video doorbell, for a business office. There are many available but the ones I found has the video image goes to an app. I am looking for a Wi-Fi or POE doorbell, intercom, video, that can send the image to a PC via network

Ring Video doorbell may do the trick

They say I shot a man named Gray and took his wife to Italy
She inherited a million bucks and when she died it came to me
    I can't help it if I'm lucky

I was at an ADI tech expo yesterday, got an overview of the Ring doorbell. Pretty clever, the video goes to the cloud, and then to your cell phone, subscription is $30 a year for one camera. I am going to buy one for home.
But its app based so won't work here.
Side note, the inventor of Ring had it on Shark Tank, he was turned down. Ring recently was purchased by Amazon for 6 billion....article states 1 bil but presentation was 6

As long as your site has a quality internet connection I would just use Ring and not let the fact that it relies on the cloud bother you as it is so cheap and simple to do this way. Ring has a Windows 10 app that will run on a desk top machine (I use it). I would, however, use the Ring "Elite" as it is POE and ethernet so you can direct connect it to your LAN and avoid Wi-Fi. Another advantage is it fits on a 1 gang standard box or mud ring.
Of course you could build it your self with a camera, door bell, etc but I don't think it is worth the trouble unless you are planning a full blown system with multiple cameras, DVR etc.

    Video Doorbell

Here is what I use .....

    Legrand video door unit ...

    IP video server ...
    https://www.legrand.us/onq/intercom/...ll/cm2002.aspx

It only works with the Legrand intercom system though. We use it at our office. Works fine. Selective call intercom unit also can control a mag lock release relay.

I use the Legrand NVR to record video onsite; it can be backed up to a cloud service like Dropbox, etc...

IP server can email a pic when the doorbell is pressed. You can login from any web device to view the video feed. I have an IP camera app on my desktop to view all the cameras. Also, the NVR has an HDMI output.
