Is there some cable tray/duct routing software available which I can use to route cable trays without learning AutoCAD? Thanks

I did once an excel program [3 or 4 sheets] for ducts and manholes.
First of all you have to prepare a list of all power cables according to segregation: low voltage,
medium voltage. Control cables, instrument and communication will be another segregated conduits.
Second, you have to prepare a list of standard manholes and typical duct banks.
On the equipment layout [or general arrangement] figure the manhole order number.
Prepare another list of all manholes and duct banks including type of manhole, type and length of duct banks.
A simple program will produce the total number of manholes of the same type and the length of ducts- pvc and steel. However, it will be an informative paper for bid purpose only.
The same thing I did with cable trays. This result it could be used for bid and for calculation of total steel and aluminum weight. You cannot order tray parts from this. This has to be done on AutoCAD.:weeping:
You could gain some time from the bid date up to actual order date.
