To bond, or Not to bond.

To bond, or Not to bond.

The gen is mounted in the back of a pickup. 4 wire cord is run via the 50 amp recept to a work trailer containing a small panel with MCB. Neutral isolated. EG is bonded to frame of truck and frame of trailer.

Bonding neutral at panel in trailer seems like the correction. What am I missing?

I'd say leave it as is.

If you bond neutral to ground in the trailer and then sometime plug trailer into a premises wiring system you potentially introduce more problems there with a unnecessary neutral-ground bond then if leaving it float while on the generator. JMO.

Having this supply ungrounded isn't as much of a problem as some want to think it is. Keeping the grounding/bonding properly intact from the utility supplied source that is grounded is important though.
