    No, that would be silly.......Just require the use Class I Division 1 wring methods.

    How about a gas meter that has an over pressure valve that closes if the pressure gets too high.

    Isn't that the regulator's job?

    Either way, a device that's made for regulating from maybe 10 psi down to 0.25 psi or for measuring at that lower pressure isn't going to like 200 psi.
