    Disco Sizes

    Anyone know why Eatons catalog only goes up to 1200a for heavy duty disconnects? They do come larger obviously.

    Actually I think 1200 is the upper end of "safety switch" style units. Anything larger is in a different classification and different section of the catalog.
    I live for today, I'm just a day behind.

    No manufacturer makes a safety switch larger than 1200A

    Higher rated switches go into bolt lock pressure switches and usually are swicthboard construction
