    Here's more from the same job. Pay special attention to the THHN run with a piece of 2 wire. He ran out of 3 wire!...then he made an open slice in the ceiling. Good times.

    The switch box is typical of the other switches we looked at. Real crap work.

    are those single conductors under a metal roof there? and no cover on the receptacle... know my eyesihgt is bad but, that wire does not enter the box from side or such but from right beside the receptacle, doesnt it? Jeez... and this was a licensed electrician? What am I studying code for?

    I doubt this guy was licensed. He did abscond with the money before correcting this though. Imagine that.

    He claimed to be an electrician, we haven't heard if he was licensed. You're studying because you want to know.

    that is true. I study because I like to know why... same reason I took and passed my extra exams.. but could not pass the code portion..morse code, that is... lol...

    ok, just me asking, but how does he consider the wires secured within 12 inches? By going through the hole in the stud? And the bend is too tight as well...lol
    And even I know that the box is overfilled, but what gets me as well is trying to figure out his numbering system. I number based on breakers, and then use letters for light switch circuits, but all numbers to a circuit should match... it looks like he just put a bunch of numbers on wires since he was told to label stuff...lol...maybe he was listening to a car race that day...
