    the ditch witch is now bonded, but needs an exothermic
    attachment to be code compliant. i'd cadweld one end to the
    auger, and the other end to the gas tank.

    this might be one of those times to invest in a electrically fired
    remote cadweld. just a thought.

    never mind the deposit. you'll be doing good if you get the ditch witch back.

    One would think a mettalic well pipe , that normally makes to bedrock, would be a grand EC

    I am sure most do. It can be used, just not required to be used.
