Ground rod for outdoor electric panel

    Hi Everyone,

I wanted to see if anyone hase any information regarding a ground rod requirment for an outdoor panel (attached to the side of my house) to supply pool equipment. I have seen a few comments both for an against in various forums. From my understanding of the code, if I place a panel in a separate structure a ground rod is required, however, if in or on the same structure it is not required.

    Thanks!

    Brad
