Default Resistance Welder Service Wire Size

Can Welding Cable such as "4/0 ExCELENE Welding Cable", which is rated for 600 Amps within 100 feet, (Per their spec sheet) be used for the incoming service for a 400A Resistance Welder?
(cable specs can be found at Weldingdepot.com)

Default Re: Resistance Welder Service Wire Size

from the website you gave us to look at the cable data, the manufacturer states that the application is

"for connections from electrode holder & clamp to arc welder, bus, welding box or transformer. this cable is not intended for NEC Article 310 Applications or general branch circuit & feeder wires."

this was also pointed out by don, one of the other menbers.
this was already pointed out to you in your other posting in the engineering calculations section.
