Panel labels and signs

There is nothing in the NEC code that covers the letter size for any required signage. There are ANSI standards that may have what you are looking for, such as the one found in a FPN if it is safety related.

The design issue of label appearance is not covered by the NEC except as previously mentioned.

You can find this specification in many construction design standards.

Minimum size Melamine plastic, 0.125? thick x ?? tall x 2? width, with a minium of ?? letter.

Self-tapping stainless steel screws or permanent adhesive.

Perhaps a neat approach, but not a NEC standard.
