We are looking for a book, document etc.... that gives testing standards and acceptance values for various size motor that we have.

We want something, that explains type of test, how long, expected results, acceptance results, etc...

We are primarily interested in this for setting up an motor insulation testing program to track the insulation strength of our motors. We also want to use it for acceptance testing of new motors.

From what I have heard and seen before, it seems like NETA is the best place for this info.

Does anyone know if the 2009 Standard for Acceptance Testing Specifications is the best documnet for this? Does this document include all the IEEE standards as well? What is the difference between this and the standard for Maintnance testing by NETA?

Yep, and it is now recognized as an ANSI standard

ATS is for new equipment commisioning, you want to use the MTS.

Does this document include all the IEEE standards as well?

NETA specs are based on existing IEEE (And other) standards, they will reference other standards at times and usually encompass several existing standards. The NETA/ANSI standards are developed by a Standards Review Council (SRC) to determine the best practices from years of experience (Some veeery smart guys on tis council) and the latest technology in the testing industry.

What is the difference between this and the standard for Maintnance testing by NETA?

ATS=new, MTS=existing equipment, very similar, just some additional tests to catch installation errors and some different test values for the specs.
