Hi guys,

We have implemented voltage reduction in substation level, how ever we got couple of substations with down-line regulators.I was wondering whether there's away to remotely shut these down-line regulators while on voltage reduction.

I would like to hear how you guys accomplish this at your utilities.

Thank you and your help is much appreciated.

P.S: we got both TWACS and Cannon installed in our system.

E, welcome to the forum! :)

Don't you have any dosumentation or support on this equipment?

I can't imagine you have no name and phone number for a vendor's rep.

Do you mean remotely control? Cooper, Siemens, and Schweitzer controls.

Remote switching? We switch these in and out by hand using by-pass switches. We do not do it while on voltage reduction. We move them to neutral first.

Is that what you were asking?

PS: welcome to the forum!
