I have a client who wants me to mount a 120/208 Dist panel above a 75kVA transformer. The panel is 6 1/2" deep, the transformer is 20" deep. Does this violate the clear working space rule?
Personally I think it does, but my client insists that it does not. The cleint has a break room. he is converting into a new electrical equipment room. He is trying to cram in as much as possible, so he maintains that the clear working space does not apply to a transformer/distribution panel combination.
