I'm buying a 200k genset from caterpillar in PA , we are doing the transaction online m and wire payment , they sent me an invoice for the total , genset cost + extended warranty (I bought this separate), the question is if I need some kind of purchase / sale agreement where we specify that , the genset is in working conditions , number of hours , etc. or the invoice is enough. I haven't seen the genset , but they sent me the load test report . and told me that it has 63 hours , m,ade in 2006

You should include your agreement in the transaction usually through a purchase order. If you did not use a request for proposal/quote then summarize your verbal in a document both seller and buyer sign, sounds like you've already initiated your purchase through a credit card but an agreement document could be an attachment to the warrantee.
