I'm working on a bathroom and the HO is installing an Ariel Steam Shower. I have no idea what the electrical requirements are.

I have found the unit on-line and the following is the description under the "Specifications" tab:

"Quick Electrical Specifications:
Power Type: 110V, 60 Hz
Max Power Usage: 55+ amps
Breaker Required: Dual-Pole 30 amp GFCI
Wire Required: #10-2 Gauge"

I think something was "lost in translation". :eek:hmy:

I have done a few and the largest I did was 50 amps and the smallest 30 amp. Depends on the size of the shower. There definitely seems like something is amiss in the specs.

Talked with Tech Support and they say this unit is 120V and a 30A GFI is required. The total Amps is with the Pump and Steam system running at the same time. I have had to run the 10/2 and install the 30A in addition to the circuits I have already installed.
