Hello,
I have an old General Switch load center panel. It states on the door info that a GE "TQL" or GE "TQAL" would be an acceptable replacement breaker. I have GE "THQL" breakers. My question is: What or Is there a difference in the "TQL" vs "THQL" style of breaker that would prohibit me in using the "THQL" type?? Thank you in advance for all of your help!!

WAG here, the old standard snap in GE breakers might have been labeled as TQL and the new ones are THQL. I believe most new breakers are all HACR rated and that is what the H stands for.

IIRC the old GEs were more squarish like a Murray or Siemens.
