I am rewiring a condo on the 22 floor of a high rise so everything is run in emt or mc.
My client doesn’t want receptacles in her backsplash. Instead she wants plug mold just under the upper cabinets.
I’m having issues trying to find plug mold that is compatible with mc in this application. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Welcome to the forum.

Doesn't hardwired Plugmold have 1/2" KOs on the back? (yes, see pic) Any standard MC connector should work.

The ones I have done has all the parts you need. You need to get the kit. Using the end fed is optional. I agree it's not attractive.

The problem with MC and the built in KOs in the back is the regular pop on mc connectors stick too far into the plug mold.

A fitting like this may work. I've used them when hanging track light with a live end feed.

I still use individual Wiremold boxes for under-cabinet receptacles.
Do you use one of the channel KOs to bring wire in? Wouldn't be a real cable KO

But truth be told, that's what I use to make up plugmold instead of a plugmold end feed

Reason is the end feed is tall, and visible under cabinet. Wiremold j-box is the same depth as plumold.

I don't suggest it anywhere that the inspectors actually do their job.Screenshot_20220803-103036_Gallery.jpg

Hey that track you have your low volt feed in looks pretty slick. Can I ask what your using and where you got it

No, I just use individual Wiremold boxes with receptacles and plates, with the narrow end butted up to the back skirt.

That leaves room for the LED ribbon which I place about 1.5" from the front skirt with side skirts V-cut where needed.

I just called my recent customers and they said I could come by tomorrow to take a few pictures of this installation.
