Bonding flex at a transformer

I was always taught when connecting Flex (FMC) to a transformer, that bonding bushings should be used at all flex connectors. I'm being questioned on this now and cant seem to find a code requirement for this application. Can someone point me to the code section to verify this application or tell me I have been doing it wrong for the past 35 years. I can take it. Thanks for the help

I know it is pretty common but really only required with concentric KOs and over 250 to ground per 250.97

I constantly see bonding bushings installed where they are completely unnecessary.

Ditto and I've heard from a long list of people who tell me that they're required but can provide no code section to back it up with the one exception that Bob posted.
