When installing a 16KW 120/240v standby generator I was wondering if I need to bond the EGC to the neutral bus in the transfer switch? It is bonded at the main panel. I am thinking that this generator would not be a be a separately derived system so I would not bond in the transfer switch. Appreciate you thoughts. Thanks.

If the transfer switch does not also switch the neutral the generator is not an SDS.
But if the service wires land on the transfer switch it may have become the service/main disconnect.
That could require a ground to neutral bond there and removal of the bond in what previously was the main panel.
