Grounding per 250.122

I have a crane that is fed by a 30A breaker. Per section 610.14 I can use 12 AWG conductors. However table 250.122 states I need 10 AWG for my EGC since it is over 20 and under 60A. 250.122 also states in no case shall they be required to be larger than the circuit conductors supplying the equipment. So my question is, is 12 AWG a suitable EGC or do I need to use 10 AWG?

IMO, all you need is a 12 equipment grounding conductor.
