Well today just a good cell phone like a Droid or a tablet with an applet. I have fat fingers so I prefer a tablet to be able to type but either are just as capable. Today a 4G LTE tablet or phone can do just about everything a laptop can do, and do some task a laptop cannot like phone home. I can access email, company network and do just about anything with any application you want. I even have golf logix on my droid which is better than most GPS uni-taskers for $300 plus monthly subscription fees can do. Schedulers/Calender with email apps are free and plentiful. Get stuck waiting, watch a movie or play a game.
