The Green Button - seems like a great idea- but how do you get at the data?

Great! Except none of the apps work...Has anyone used this? As far as I can tell, it's the usual monthly data in a different format. I'm looking for more like daily. I guess the data depends on the type of meter, but I can't seem to get anything more than a wrong-looking monthly chart from the .xml file.

The Green Button initiative was officially launched in January 2012. To date, a total over 50 utilities and electricity suppliers have signed on to the initiative. In total, these commitments ensure that over 60 million homes and businesses will be able to securely access their own energy information in a standard format.

One of them sort of works, but doesn't do much.

If anyone is interested- it seems to be the same data you get from the .csv/spreadsheet POCO download, just in a harder to use form.
There may be some app or program which does something neat with it- all I've found is WegoWise, which...turns the green button .xml into a...spreadsheet!
