Most likely me, I know that.

My laptop signs on to the AD web site with no problem while I am at home, bring it to the office and forget it. I have to search up a password or use my desktop. ??

I want to update the software for ADs VFDs and it comes as a zipped file. I can not get WinZip to work. I'm not even sure if it installed correctly, I get no response. ??

I've spent enough hours today on it. :rant::dunce:

If your network is set to public, this might cause the problem. Check by the following:

Start, Run
type control.exe /name Microsoft.NetworkandSharingCenter

your SSID should appear with the type of network listed just below the network name.

As for winzip. I prefer WinRAR

remove the office wireless network from your wireless networks list.

Next time you connect to it, don't set it up as a public network.

May or may not be your problem though.

Used a different program to unzip.

The AD problem is all me. Quite sure. Danged OF.
