Hey guys. When installing a wedge anchor in a existing slab do you always have to drill the hole or is the a "gun" that drives it in? Nevermind numbers below...can't erase for some reason. Does it seem reasonable that each one of these could be installed in 5 minutes with standard conditions? Thanks.

Yes you can drill a 1/4" hole and install the anchor in 5 minutes, almost always less depending on if you're properly setup.

Wedge anchors are my favorite anchors. Much faster than drop-ins, with fewer parts and needing fewer tools, and you only need drill the same hole size as the fastener itself, which also speeds things up considerably. The only time I use a drop-in is if I need a flush surface with a removable fastener.
