Truck rates

Our company has just purchased a bucket truck for mainly lighting work. I was wondering what rates other contractors were charging and how they were applied. ex. truck and 1 man together or separate? How much $ is a fair price?

Re: Truck rates

Contact a tax accountant to do a cost analysis, based on depreciation, operating expense, frequency, and duration of use.

Then double the sum total :D

Re: Truck rates

We do a two hour min. and $120 Hr. for the truck. unless it is a regular customer that gives us plenty of work then we give them a break in local work as many times it only take a few mineuits to get to the job and replace a bulb. but It depends on the job. Just check around your area as a coustomer and get prices this would be the best way just dont under cut to much as this would be a sign of maybe someone who doesn't know what he's doing. we win many bids just being higher. as many who know construction will baulk at somone who's way too low.
