    Dock leveled controls

Is there a regulation that dock leveler controls have to be in sight of the leveler?

Some people are like slinkies. They serve absolutely no useful purpose. But still put a smile on your face when pushed down a flight of stairs.

Common sense? How could you level the dock otherwise?

A disconnect, on the other hand, within sight or lockable.

Many people are shocked when they discover I am not a good electrician...

I'm in California, ergo I am still stuck on the 2014 NEC... We'll get around to the 2017 code in around 2021.
