I want to get more knowledge in the construction industry in general, what are a good book on the topics

What I use that’s extremely informative is the international code Council‘s International residential code. Also referred to as the IRC. This can be viewed on the international code Council‘s website for free but I find using their book much more user-friendly. I purchased mine on Amazon for 40 something dollars. Just as a note, it is more of a informational book. Not a teaching book. I hope this helps.
