The FGI, formly AIA guidelines for healthcare facilities used to say LS panels could be on the immediate floor or one floor up or one floor down. The 2010 version of this book changed the wording to indicated htat LS panels could serve floors and above and/or floors below; i.e. now according to this guideline you can go up more than one floor.

Does 517 have anything to say on this subject?

Thanks,

Mike
