My father and i were chatting last night, he asked me if id ever heard of 480v 3phase, B leg to ground, i said no,

any one ever hear of it? maybe what applications it would pertain to?

We call those corner grounded delta services. They're are fairly common in the farming areas, and sometimes in the oil fields, depending on the utility's requirements for a grounded service.
