i am conducting service calc for new 24-unit apartment in LA
i came up with 911 A demand for 24 dwelling units plus the house load of 270A (Elev. , garage fan, ltg....)

do I need 1200A pull box ;splited to
400A for HSE and 1200A multi-gang service with 1000A main for dwellings

Sounds like you need a 1200 service disconnect feeding a meter center with at least 25 sockets. I assume the service will be three phase and the individual meters single phase. Find out what the poco is supplying and wants and then go talk to your friendly neighborhood gear guy....
