This is a old electrical system. Existing is 1200 amp service Knife style fused disconnect (visible disconnect), then from main disconnect nipple to can with CTs and bussing, if I tap into can with the CTs. Then from CT can it goes to Distribution disconnects. is that a line side tap?, I’m thinking its not because if I turn off 1200 amp main disco that’s fused, it turns off power in CT can, to be a tap I would have to tap into the line side lugs of the 1200 amp fused disconnect. But if I do that will the ct meter read my tap. Or would I be Essentially stealing power?
