My question is whether i need to use different aproach to designing of XLPE cable interconnection line (generator to transformer substation on 10kV, about 1000m) when using mupliple single core cables per phase. The present current load is about 2500A which demands about 4 paralel lines per phase.
I am mainly interested in impact of such desing on losses and difference in its calculation compared to single core per phase. Is there any tool or guide for creating of model for multiple cables? How do the line constants change in this case? Any thoughts will be appreciated.
