155* f on circuit breakers

I have these qo single pole breakers pulling 80% amperage @ 120volts. The circuits are on 24/7 . Panel is hot to the touch . Used a ir thermostat and the breakers were 132- 155* f. None of the breakers tripped out. But is this temperture too much for the cb/ circuit. # 10 thhn wire. Ambient temp is about 78* inside building.

Where did you measure these temperatures?
The hottest spot of a breaker is often the operating handle. The coolest spot is the bus connection followed closely the conductor terminal.

At maximum design operating temperature, it is not unusual to have the breaker be "too hot to touch".

Is it a true RMS clamp meter? If you have non-linear load like computers and CFLs, the reading will be wrong on an average sensing meter.
