Delta 480v Primary Transformer

I may seem ignorant. I have a 480/277 volt panel to feed a transformer. Can a 480v primary 3 phase transformer be fed from this panel, or should the tansformer say 480/277v primary? The secondary is 120/208vac 3 phase

The delta transformer will work fine from the Wye panel and a 480 delta 208Y/120 transformer is a very common installation.

Bill, just to add: even if the transformer had a primary neutral, you should leave it unconnected. In other words, wire it as if it had a Delta primary.
