So I have a client that is wanting to hook up a Lincoln Electric Precision Tig 275. The recommended input wire and fuse size chart recommeneds a 150 amp breaker with #3 conductors and a #6 ground. Am I missing something here? That is no where near enough from what I see. This will be fed with a subfeed cable. What are your thoughts? The following is a link to the chart. It is the 230/1/60 voltage and go across to the right hand chart. "For unbalanced AC TIG welding above 275 amps".
