Hello,

I had a well dug some ten years ago and the guy ran the feed for the pump from the pressure switch to the breaker panel in the house with 3 wire 240v twisted pump cable. It was suitable for direct burial. I'm putting a new breaker panel in the house and was wondering if that 3 wire has to be in conduit inside the wall where it goes through the floor up to the breaker panel. Right now it goes through a NM clamp and into the panel.

I appreciate your advice.....Thank you in advance.
