we installed a new ceiling fan runs great but don't feel the air in either direction the ceiling is at an angle on two sides

If the fan is up to high that can be the issue. The lower you drop the fan the more air it will push.

Obviously the motor is working but the fan blades are not. Take them back and exchange them or demand a refund.

I had the same problem with an outdoor fan (fan provided by owner). I installed the fan and startd to look for the fabric blade covers. It was a windy day so I thought they may have been blown off the deck. Looked at the box and it said blade covers sold seperately. I installed everything provided by the owner so my job is over.
