LP pump: nameplate says 12 amp at 120 volt. 119-120 actual volts at pump under no load. Actual amperage while filling tanks 20-22 amp, sometimes up to 25 amp...voltage drops to 111+/- volt when filling. Since it was installed two(ish) years ago, it inconsistently trips breaker and or Allen Bradley P32 thermal overload. Thoughts on amperage differences from nameplate? My first thought is voltage drop/circuit distance.

Hmm...an Allen Bradley P32 thermal is only rated at 7.72 amp. Wonder if they sized the overload for 208/230 volt but provided 120?

a motor that is taking about 2X the nameplate FLC when it is running is a huge red flag.

could be all kinds of things but since it has been happening all along it may just be that someone undersized the motor in the first place.
