I have a hot tub install coming up. While I was doing the survey for the job, I observed that the customers house has Aluminum siding. So I was wondering what type of bonding/insulating (if any) I might have to do,when I mount my service disconnect,to the siding. I could probably find a pvc disco box. Or I can Isolate the metal disco box from the siding. Thanx

I am less concerned about the spa disconnect being attached to a metal surface as it should be at same potential as the spa, what may be imposing an difference of potential on that siding elsewhere is what concerns me more.

why is a metal box an issue?
see NEC 2014 680.26

the box would essentially be bonded to everything else at some point.
