When to use copper tape or copper wire as lightning protection conductor? Also when to use copper plate or copper rod as earthing conductor?

If good conductivity soil layer is present at a depth, plate earthing. If soil conductivity is more or less uniform throughout, rod earthing. JMO.
Minimum size is criterion. If satisfied, either may be used.
