Many, if not most, computer power supplies are switch-mode with a broad input range. It's likely that it'll work just fine on 220 volts/50 Hz and the power transformer wasn't necessary, all that's needed is an adapter cord.

Is it a laptop with a separate power supply or a desktop that plugs directly to AC? Separate power supplies these days will nearly always run on 230V as well as 120V with just a pin/prong adapter, but either way there should be a plate or engraving next to where the AC power cord comes in that shows what the voltage range is. If you absolutely need 120V, look for a converter there in Prague in a store that caters to tourists. Good luck!
