Looking for 400 amp main breaker plug on panel

Get your normal 400 amp panel bolt on and get it with a 200 amp sub feed breaker from that sub feed I was able to run a 200 amp panel right next to the 400 but due to arc fault price the 200 amp sub was used solely for arc fault homeruns and I pulled all my equipment power out of the main 400 bolt breakers I hope this helps

Of course the customer is the one writing the checks, but I think 2 200 amp panels makes more sense. Not only will it be a lot cheaper, just plain more convenient - more room, more breaker spaces, more neutral bar space.....
84 circuit NQOD solves all issues you mentioned except it will still likely cost more then two 200 amp 42 circuit main breaker loadcenters - even QO loadcenters.
