What's that all the way up under the eves in the soffit? Looks like two recessed lights??

they aren't the same distance from the crown of the roof.

It may be an optical illusion they seem to be on lined up properly on the clapboard.

No they were using those as a shelf for materials they had the aluminum ones , lol does anyone have an actual opinion of if I should put a light by the door Im starting to think not

And if I hadn't asked, I would have missed the planks below and closer to the house, and now see the ladders as shelves. Thanks! I just knew there had to be something I was missing.

As for the light, I think you are already served by the central location, unless you need something switched at the door, and that isn't able. If you are doing a covered porch, then I'd go with a light inside of that, instead of on the house wall.
