Currently rehabbing an older home. Ran into an odd wiring situation. The hot wires from the panel are in the ceiling. From there there is a wire to the switch, wires to three different lights which used to work off the switch and a wire to an outlet above the stove. What I need to do is keep the outlet wire hot and have the lights run off the switch. How would I go about wiring this? Unfortunately, the old wiring became disconnected when I removed one of the light fixtures. I should also mention that none of the wires were in boxes....just laying atop the drywall. Yikes!
