Floor Boxes

How do you set floor boxes in concrete? Never had to do this before. I brought the boxes but not sure on how to set. They are 8" high , with move for communication wires.

Scraps of rebar and some tie wire works well.

You need to pull strings to find the top of the slab. If you are using those plastic boxes they can be a tad high as you can easily cut them off after the slab is poured. We just set them on the stone and use the mesh wire to drive into the screw holes.

You can also just drive some emt on the sides of the box to hold it in place

Of course, rebar works well, as Dave mentioned, if there is some around
